In this unit, you will be able to learn greetings and introductions. Under
these terminal learning objectives, you will learn the following tasks. At the end of this unit, you will be able to know：
1. basic greetings in English;
2. greetings before a conversation;

II Background Knowledge
1. Basic Greetings in English
Greeting noun： saying hello; a polite word of welcome
Greet verb： to say hello; to welcome somebody
The opposite of greeting is farewellsaying goodbye.
There are many ways to say hello in English. Sometimes you say a quick
hello as you are passing somebody. At other times a greeting leads to a
