From 2009 to 2012， due to the serious tomb theft on the top of Mount Dayun， Maba Town， Xuyi County， Jiangsu Province， with the approval of the National Cultural Heritage Administration， Nanjing Museum and the Museum of Xuyi County formed a joint archaeological team to carry out the exploration and rescue excavation of the tombs within the top area of Mount Dayun， revealing a well-preserved cemetery of Jiangdu King of the Western Han Dynasty， and with more than 10，000 pieces （sets） of exquisite cultural relics made of pottery， bronze， gold and silver， jade and lacquer unearthed.
The central and northern parts of the cemetery have been confirmed as the area of attendant tombs， with a total of 11 tombs excavated. Up to now， there have been relatively more materials and research on the tombs of the Western Han feudatory kings， while the materials and research on the attendant tombs of feudatory kings were relatively less， especially when the tomb owner can be clearly identified as a certain feudatory kings concubine. The owners of the attendant tombs in the cemetery of Jiangdu King excavated this time were all concubines of the first generation of Jiangdu King， Liu Fei. The excavation of these tombs can provide important basic materials for the study of the attendant tombs of feudatory kings， and further promote the in-depth study of the attendant burial system of feudatory kings in the Han Dynasty.
