《大学英语公众演讲实训教程》共12个单元，每个单元有4部分内容。Learning to Speak in Public部分通过大量的阅读、诵读、视听等材料的输入，聚焦世界知识的积累以及思辨能力的提升。Public Speaking Skills部分着眼于公众演讲技巧的实训，包括技巧解析、案例分析。Preparation and Practice部分设计演讲活动，通过脚手架的支持，从头脑风暴、逻辑结构、听众分析、演讲大纲、评价表等方面帮助学生一步步准备演讲稿及演练。Apprecia-tion部分为演讲赏析，在演讲实践的基础上不断反思活动过程，内化拓展所学技巧，最终延伸到其他的学习活动中。
