《内蒙古植物花粉形态》共分为五章,从**章至第五章分别介绍了内蒙古的自然条件特点、内蒙古植物资源特征、孢粉学基本知识、现代孢粉形态的研究方法、内蒙古植物花粉形态特征。在第五章共收录描述了内蒙古森林、草原、荒漠3大植被主要植物359种,隶属49科201属(包括21变种, 1亚种及少量的栽培种)。以恩格勒系统为科属种排列顺序,描述了每种植物花粉的形状、大小、萌发器官类型和数量及花粉粒表面纹饰等形态特征,并且根据相关文献资料,对每种植物的花果期、生境、分布、产地、主要应用价值等内容进行了记载和整理。针对每种植物还配有1-3幅利用扫描电子显微镜拍摄的高清花粉图片,共计828幅花粉图片,更加直观地反应出每种植物的花粉形态特征和应用价值。
