I wish I could.…表达一种虚拟的愿望。
wish后面的动词要用虚拟语气。
比如：（1）I wishI could marry a movie star.
我希望能嫁给一个明星。（指将来的可能性很小）
（2） She wishes she were ten years younger.
她希望她比现在小十岁。（与现在事实不符）
