《云南省三江并流地区生态环境建设对扶贫开发的影响》一书从选题背景、国内外研究现状入手对“三江并流”区域生态环境建设与贫困地区进行定位，在对怒江、迪庆、丽江地区实地调研基础上，分析了影响“三江并流”地区生态环境与地区脱贫的因素及区域生态环境建设与扶贫开发的关系，剖析了贫困地区区域“资源一经济一环境”的内在联系，并对该区域发展高原特色生态农业、生态旅游业，深入挖掘民族特色文化、打造特色民族文化产业，走可持续发展之路进行了重点阐述，提出扶贫开发模式与生态环境治理相结合，防止“资源诅咒”问题出现的政策建议。作者认为在处理“三江并流”区域资源保护与开发建设这对矛盾时，需加强生态文明建设、实施西部大开发的战略部署，解决好保护遗产地与消除贫困的矛盾。做到在保护中开发、在开发中保护，促进资源保护与经济社会发展双赢、生态保护与项目建设协调发展，从而实现“三江并流”区域的可持续发展，并充分发挥区域在生态安全、国防安全、巩固边疆、民族团结等方面的重要作用。
