Ralph R.Martin，于1983年获得英国剑桥大学博士学位，现任英国卡迪夫大学教授、可视计算实验室主任、清华大学客座教授。他是CAD与计算机图形学领域的著名学者，是“反向工程”的主要发明人之一，发表了超过250篇学术论文，参与编写十余本科技著作；也是CAD、CAGD等领域多个国际顶级刊物的编委，有着丰富的英文科技论文写作和编辑经验。
